Blue design lamps

1 lamp, 11 colours, infinite combinations

When Bolt saw the light, it was black. Tough, industrial and simply a perfect match with the design of the lamp. But Bolt wanted more. Dared more. He wanted to be bold. And so he decided to expand his versatile character with colour. Safe at first, with white and grey. But the more compliments he received, the more his confidence grew.

Tonone chose two shades of blue: Thunder Blue (dark blue) and Ice Blue (ice blue). Combining these shades of blue gives a beautiful effect.

Thunder Blue

Dark clouds are gathering. The rain is pouring down. You can hear the rumbling in the distance. Is it getting closer? Then suddenly a lightning bolt lights up the sky. During that brief moment of light, you see the breathtaking blue of a thundering evening. Thunder Blue.

Thunder Blue is an easy companion for your interior. Actually, this colour gets along well with all colours. Keep it natural with green and taupe or go for contrast with orange or pink. Also cool: combine the Bolt in blue with gold accessories for a luxurious look. Finally, Thunder Blue fits perfectly in a classic interior with wooden floors and black and white furniture.

Ice Blue

Strap on your skates, because it's time to take to the ice. Natural ice, that is. The sky is clear blue, the ice is cracking. And as you take your first strokes on the frozen ground, you admire the colours that are so rarely seen in the Netherlands. Ice Blue. As powerful as the first strokes with sharpened irons, as bright as the light on a winter's day.

Bolt lamp in different colors

New colours entered the Bolt palette. Striking Orange (orange), Flux Green (green) and Thunder Blue (blue). For each colour, inspiration came from everyday life. Often from nature, but art also proved an important source of new ideas. By looking around, Bolt saw which colours made him happy. Later, Sunny Yellow, Daybreak Rose and Ice Blue were added. They helped him be even more in the spotlight.

Bolt

All blue lamps in the Bolt series are made of powder-coated steel. This gives a cool and sleek look. Even at respectable age, the Bolt can count on a flood of compliments.

Bella

In 2022, we welcomed the Bella table lamp and the Bella pendant lamp to the Tonone Collection. Bella is the best of both worlds. Bolt was what it all started with at Tonone. A sturdy lamp made of robust steel with a cool powder coating. With its looks, it managed to win many hearts. In 2016, Ella joined it. An elegant tripod with a hand-blown glass shade. Bella brings the two together. In its name - an amalgamation of Bolt and Ella - but especially in its looks.

Bella is also available in 11 colours. And especially for this lovely lady, our designers developed a new colour. The result is Ice Blue. A light, cool shade that comes across strongly thanks to grey and green undertones. Ice Blue enhances the colours Bella stands next to, but, like a true chameleon, it can blend in with the rest of your interior just as well.
