A balance between tranquility and energy
For this special project, Norm Studio created an interior that fully reflects the unique personality and desires of the client. As a busy expert, she wanted a home where tranquility and balance are central, but also has room for liveliness and hosting friends and family. Her love of Japan and her colorful personality inspired a design in which Japandi and Pop Art come together in a harmonious whole. Lighting plays an important role in the design, with Tonone's choice helping to combine functionality, design and atmosphere.

Wood in the leading role
The interior exudes a serene simplicity, with a base of soft, natural colors and light materials. Wood plays a starring role, recurring in floors, furniture and details. Organic forms and subtle references to origami emphasize the minimalist lifestyle so characteristic of Japandi. This is complemented by natural materials, papery textures and light, airy fabrics as the basis for interior design. The Bella Table lamp in Pure White color with a brass fitting fits well with this serene and elegant base, adding a sophisticated detail.
Color accents
To translate the vibrant energy of the resident, we added color accents in primary shades. These emerge subtly in furniture and accessories, bringing a playful dynamic to the design. The combination of minimalist forms and striking color accents creates an interior that is both calm and expressive. The Bolt Floor 2arm lamp in the color Sunny Yellow is a real eye-catcher. The addition of its beloved Pop Art artwork also creates a characterful interior.
Peaceful yet playful
Much attention was paid to natural light in the interior design, which enhances the serene look. The result is a “peaceful yet playful” space, where relaxation and hospitality come together. With this project, Norm Studio shows how different styles and desires can be translated into an interior that is personal, timeless and completely balanced.
