Hometour Amber

Amber Letanche (42) lives with her husband Joris and two kids (Bo 8 and Morris 3) in a 1930s house in Gouda. They moved there seven years ago. They knew right away: "step by step we are going to turn this house into our big people's dream house". So that, in theory, they will never have to leave. No idea if that will actually be the case, but they liked the idea that the house can grow with them.

They recently did their first major remodel, the first floor and second floor bathroom. Amber calls the style "Colorful Scandinavian": white walls and a quiet floor, plenty of room to play with color. Amber always wanted a Tonone lamp. They think Tonone's colors are like candy and it goes with many styles. The front of the house is gray-blue, pink tiles in the kitchen and pistachio green built-in cabinets. The first Tonone lamp came in the color Striking Orange. That pops nicely with the whole thing.

Big Kitchen

With the downstairs extension, they were finally able to make their #famLetanchelargeborreloon kitchen a reality. A kitchen over 6 meters long, with a Piet Hein Eek table 3 meters in front of it. By far their favorite place.

They love to celebrate life, together or with others, without and with kids, in large and small gatherings. This table will later tell all the stories. Also those of the kids, when they will throw parties and dinners. Amber finds this a touching and beautiful thought.
